Welcome to Mystic Falls, where everyone is dying to live.

The Bennett ancestors have repeatedly warned Bonnie and the Mystic Falls residents that messing with the balance of good and evil would result in consequences. Up until now, they had stood by and only interfered when they thought it was necessary, but when the veil was dropped, they were pushed to their limits, and realized this was their chance to continue their bloodline.

Using whatever was left of their powers, the Bennett line managed to conjure up enough magic to bring back to life one of their descendants- Emily Bennett. But when the Bennett witches brought back Emily, they also allowed a couple of the Mystic Falls residents to escape through the great divide. Now the dead have risen and the lost are back among us, as our favorite town residents fight to stay alive while trying to lead normal lives.

When the veil dropped, Esther Mikaelson also managed to cross the divide and return once again to Mystic Falls. She resumed her quest to rid the world of vampires by killing her children, but this time she wants to return the witches to their place of power. In order to do so, Esther will need the power Emily has been collecting to bring back her family- or else.

Will Emily be strong enough to defeat Esther? Will Emily choose to save the town and it's residents from Esther or will she choose to save her family instead? Who will be left standing as the species begin to eye the top of the hierarchy? Choose a side to survive.
